RESUMEN

Se diseñó un sistema de información automatizado bajo el lenguaje Visual Basic para Aplicaciones (VBA), con la finalidad de automatizar el manejo de los datos dentro de una explotación porcina de tipo autosostenible. Se crearon las estructuras de las bases de datos  en función a las necesidades de almacenamiento de información, las cuales son controladas por formularios simples de entrada de datos,  que utilizando rutinas de programación, permiten realizar consultas especificas de datos y generar informes en forma eficiente. Se establecieron dos áreas para el análisis  de los datos, el área de rebaño,  donde se incorporan a través de planillas diseñadas para tal fin, los datos provenientes del manejo de los animales: reproducción, crecimiento - finalización, sanidad, etc. realizando automáticamente los cálculos de movimiento de rebaño, instalaciones, consumo de alimento, programa sanitario y planificación de actividades de rutina. El área de alimentación, permite la formulación de dietas en base a cálculos teóricos y recursos disponibles en la explotación, el cálculo de áreas de siembra por cultivar requerido,  mantener el inventario de alimento disponible y establecer la matriz de costos por recurso alimenticio. Se concluye que el sistema de información automatizado va a permitir aumentar la exactitud en el calculo de los índices productivos,  reducir el tiempo de planificación de la granja  y mejorar la productividad de la unidad.

ABSTRACT

An automated system of information was designed under the Visual Basic for Applications language (VBA), with the purpose of automating the handling of the data inside a autosostenible swinish exploitation. The structures of the databases were created in function to the necessities of storage of information, which are controlled by simple forms of entrance of data that using programming routines, they allow to carry out specific consultations  of data and  generate reports in efficient form. Two areas settled down for the analysis of the data, the flock area, where they incorporate through schedules designed for such an end, the data coming from the handling of the animals: reproduction, growth - finish, sanity, etc. carrying out the calculations of flock movement automatically, facilities, food consumption, programs sanitarium and planning of routine activities. The feeding area, allows the formulation of diets based on theoretical calculations and available resources in the exploitation, the calculation of areas of sows to cultivate required, to maintain the inventory of available food and to establish the womb of costs for nutritious resource. It concludes that the automated system of information will allow to increase the accuracy in the calculate of the productive indexes, to reduce the time of planning of the farm and to improve the productivity of the unit.
